This policy covers Maycas Web Reviews, the integration for public reviews from Mayca’s Google Business Profile. Automatic retrieval is enabled when Google grants access and the administrator authorizes the connection. Until it is available, the website retains its labelled editorial selection.

This integration is for website reviews. The KAYSEL Calendar appointment connection retains its own permissions and privacy policy.
The authorized administrator connects Google through OAuth. The integration checks the account’s verified email address and account identifier. It also reads business accounts and locations to select the correct listing, then retrieves its public reviews, average star rating and total review count.
Google requires the business.manage permission to read these reviews. Although the permission name includes management, this integration uses read operations: it does not post replies, edit reviews or change the business listing. Identity and email permissions verify the configured administrator account. Website visitors do not need to connect a Google account to view reviews.
When a valid retrieval is available, the website displays up to eight five-star reviews with written comments, prioritizing the most recently posted reviews. The author’s public name, original text, star rating and dates received from Google are preserved. Automatically retrieved comments are not rewritten or translated. Profile photos and business replies are not displayed in this block.
The average rating and total count come from Google and include all ratings, not only the featured selection. The selection is labelled as featured reviews, with a link to view reviews on Google. If automatic retrieval is unavailable or the cached copy has expired, the website may show its pre-existing editorial selection without presenting it as a current Google retrieval.
If a successful retrieval finds no available featured reviews, the website does not replace them with older reviews. If Google reports no reviews at all, the website states this without displaying an average star rating.
Once the connection is enabled, the server temporarily keeps original API responses to reduce repeated requests. These responses may include an author’s public details and profile photo, public business replies, and review text and dates. The temporary copy is valid for a maximum of 29 days; it is replaced when refreshed and deleted by server cleanup after expiry. An expired copy is not published.
The planned ordinary refresh is daily and requires an enabled connection and scheduled server process. The website shows the date of the last available retrieval and does not present disconnected data as a recent update. Automatically retrieved reviews are not persistently stored in the browser’s local storage.
Application credentials, authorization tokens and stored responses are kept in a private server directory outside the public website directory, with restricted file permissions. Communications with Google use HTTPS. Tokens and the administrator’s email address are not included in the public review response.
Tokens and the administrator account identification are retained while the integration remains connected. Data is used for this feature and its technical operation; it is not sold or used for personalized advertising. Temporary responses and tokens must not be included in backups that extend their retention.
The use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This data is not used to train artificial intelligence models.
The administrator may request disconnection using the contact above. The server operator has a function to delete the integration’s tokens, temporary review copy, authorization state and stored operational status. Access can also be removed through Google Account connections. Revoking permissions and deleting local integration data are separate actions.
The integration communicates with Google to obtain and renew authorization and read data. The featured review selection is shared publicly with visitors to maycasalon.com. Opening a Google link is subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy. Deleting this integration’s copy does not delete the original review published on Google.
